West Brom win shirt plea
Friday, 27/11/2009
West Brom, who are wearing unsponsored shirts for the second successive season, have been told they can take deals on a one-off basis.
The Football League have confirmed that the Baggies can offer would-be sponsors the front of their kit on a match-by-match basis.
Last season Albion were unable to take on-off sponsorships because of Premier League rules. Their relegation to the Championships see them able to potentially cash in on single backings.
The Baggies wore a shirt backing England's World Cup bid for their first game of the season, at home to Newcastle.
