England star’s injury blow

England’s Aaron Lennon has suffered a fresh injury problem that will cast a doubt over his World Cup finals place.

The Tottenham winger has been out of action since December with a groin problem and has now suffered a further muscle tear.

Spurs believe their star had been nearing a comeback but he suffered another injury problem whilst training with their youth side.

Even when he returns to action Lennon could find his way back into the first-team blocked by another England hopeful, David Bentley, who has returned to favour and form recently.
