Sunderland eye Gyan
Monday, 19/07/2010
Sunderland are reportedly lining up a £10m move for Rennes' Ghana front-man Asamoah Gyan.
Gyan, who led the Black Stars to the World Cup quarter-finals, was one of the stand-out performers in South Africa and could be in line for a big money move this summer.
Sunderland are not alone in their interest in the 24-year-old. Turkish giants Fenerbahce have opened the auction, by tabling a £10m offer, while West Ham and Liverpool are also monitoring the situation.
Rennes have slapped a £17m price tag on the striker.
