Battle for Korea ace

South Korea forward Park Chu-Young is a target for both Birmingham City and Liverpool.

The £6m-rated Monaco player impressed during the World Cup in South Africa and Premier League sides were alerted when he told his club that he wanted to leave.

The 25-year-old, who has won almost 50 South Korea caps, is a former Asian Young Footballer of the Year and his popularity in his home country would see a massive growth in interest for whichever club he signs.

Fulham were last year linked with a move for the winger-striker who is unlikely to have any work permit problems due to his involvement with his international side.
