Newly appointed Everton manager Roberto Martinez is reportedly interested in bringing Wigan Athletic winger Callum McManaman to Goodison Park.
McManaman, 22, was a product of the Toffees youth system before joining Athletic in 2007, and he could be enticed by a return to the Premier League and a reunion with his former boss.
It is unclear how much the Latics will demand for their young winger, although after a string of consistent performances in the Premier League and a Man of the Match display in the FA Cup final, they are unlikely to sell cheap.
Martinez has already been keeping tabs on some of his former players, with Antolin Alcaraz expected to sign as a free agent by the end of the week.
However, Arouna Kone has cooled interest, claiming he is happy to remain at the DW Stadium for next season.
